Mama Boxer Dog needs to be Adopted.

I call this one "Mama" because she had puppies and they have all been adopted out. She sits in her cage alone now. She is kind, quiet and gentle. When we took a break from our walk the other day she tried to sit in my lap.....of course I let her.
She can be adopted from SPRING RIVER ANIMAL SHELTER, in Cherokee Village, Arkansas.

Adopt this dog PLEASE

This dog breaks my heart. He was brought in to the shelter last Friday. His owner was found dead and had been for days, so the dog was running around the neighborhood on his own. He was attacked by something and came to the shelter with an inch deep gash in his neck.
I gave him extra special attention on Friday and he showed his appreciation by rolling over to let me pet his stomach. He is so calm and sweet. You can only imagine what this poor baby is going through...missing his owner and not understanding why he is in this weird new place.
I think he is maybe some kind of Terrior / Pitbull mix???

ROSIE - Adopt a dog or cat in Arkansas

This is Rosie. She is a very shy and lonely dog. She has mange over most of her body. If you can get her out of her house she will let you pet her. She is so sweet and quiet and health-wise she is the most sickly of the dogs at the shelter. It will just take a nurturing soul and a little medical care to make Rosie happy again.

ACT Gala Fundraiser $275,000. / Spring River Animal Services UPDATE

The "Arts for ACT" 2008 Fine Art Auction and Gala Fundraiser raised over $275,000. Congratulations !
"ARTS for ACT is a 100% non-profit gallery owned and operated by Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc., a non-profit agency that provides shelter and support services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault."

As for the Spring River Animal Services....we raised a little bit less for that. (ha-ha). We will be able to buy a few needed items that will help the shelter. For those of you who donated, thank you so much for your generosity. I will keep you posted on the animal shelter. I will be introducing you to my favorite friend there, Rosie. She will warm and break your heart.
Meanwhile the Spring River "Animal Control Officer and shelter volunteers are working hard at finding homes for the adoptable animals. They will be at the Choctaw Center, in Cherokee Village, Arkansas on August 30th with cats and kittens, dogs and puppies desperately needing homes."

100% of Sales 4 Spring River Animal Services

100% of all sales from Kristy Lee Jewelry website will go towards products for donation to my local animal shelter "Spring River Animal Services". They just opened this year and are the only shelter in our area. They are in desperate need of food and supplies. I will be doing this from now, Aug.15 until Monday Aug.18th.
(The only exception will be the Roseville Pottery and the Coca Cola tray- these are on consignment).
This is a perfect way to get some early Christmas shopping done and also to help comfort some needy animals.
